अम्बाला 06 फरवरी 2022ः- पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला श्री जशनदीप सिहँ रंधावा के निर्देशानुसार अम्बाला पुलिस द्वारा चोरी/लूट/स्नैचिंग की वारदातों पर अकंुश लगाने के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के दौरान थाना अम्बाला छावनी में दर्ज स्नैचिंग के मामले में गत दिवस प्रबन्धक थाना निरीक्षक नरेश कुमार के नेतृत्व में हाऊसिंग बोर्ड पुलिस चैकीं ईन्चार्ज बलकार सिहँ ने मात्र 24 घन्टे में कार्यवाही करते हुए तीन आरोपियों सुमित कुमार, शुभम निवासी बकरा मार्किट 12 क्रास रोड़ अम्बाला छावनी व निर्मल कुमार निवासी छप्परबन्द मौहल्ला अम्बाला छावनी को गिरफ्तार किया। आरोपी सुमित कुमार व निर्मल कुमार को माननीय न्यायालय के आदेशानुसार न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजा गया और बकाया नकदी बरामद करने के लिए आरोपी शुभम का 01 दिन का रिमाण्ड मंजूर हुआ।
इस मामले के सम्बन्ध में शिकायतकर्ता श्री राजन निवासी नजदीक नागपाल अस्पताल गोपीविहार शाहबाद मारकण्डा ने 04 फरवरी 2022 को थाना अम्बाला छावनी में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी कि 02 फरवरी 2022 को हाथीखाना मन्दिर अम्बाला छावनी के पास से आरोपी शुभम, सुमीत, सागर व पिन्टु उसकी जेब से नकदी छीन कर फरार हो गए। इस शिकायत पर पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर कार्यवाही शुरू कर दी थी।
