          आज दिनांक 12  फरवरी 2021 को   पुलिस डी.ए. वी पब्लिक स्कूल, अम्बाला शहर में महर्षि स्वामी दयानंद सरस्वती  जी का 197 वां   जन्म दिवस  श्रद्धा एवं भक्ति के साथ विद्यालय के प्रांगण में मनाया गया। स्कूल यज्ञशाला में हवन द्वारा कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया। इस कार्यकम में  स्कूल के बच्चों द्वारा भक्ति पूर्ण भजन , स्पीच व  स्लोगन की सूंदर प्रस्तुति  दी गई। कार्यक्रम में जंहा बच्चों ने स्वामी दयानन्द के जीवन से सम्बंधित कुछ महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दी ,तो वंही कुछ ने भजन व कविताओं के माध्यम से स्वामी दयानन्द के जीवन को व उनके द्वारा किये गए कार्यों का वर्णन किया। कुछ अध्यापक व अध्यापिकाओं ने भी भजन के माध्यम से आर्य समाज का व्याख्यान बहुत सूंदर ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया। 
        स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल  ” डॉ विकास कोहली ” ने सभी  को सम्बोधित करते हुए बताया कि  महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती ने ईश्वर के सत्य स्वरूप को पुनः स्थापित किया।  उन्होंने वेद , वैदिक शास्त्रों और योग विद्या के बिसरे ज्ञान  से  लोगों को अवगत करवाया तथा समाज में फैली कुरीतियों के निवारण के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति तक दे दी ।  उन्होंने बताया कि स्वामी दयानंद  संस्कृत के मूर्धन्य विद्वान् और वेद प्रचारक भी थे।  यह  वेद रूपी अमूल्य धरोहर जो स्वामी दयानंद सरस्वती द्वारा ‘रचित सत्यार्थ प्रकाश ‘के रूप में हमारे समकक्ष  है उसका संरक्षण एवं प्रचार  प्रसार करना प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का मुख्य दायित्व है। उन्होंने अपने प्राणों की आहुति देकर समस्त विश्व  को सत्य के मार्ग पर एवं पाखंडोंन्मूलन के मार्ग पर अग्रसर किया। उन्होंने बच्चों द्वारा दी गई प्रस्तुति की सराहना की तथा विजेता रहे बच्चो को आशीर्वाद दिया।         कार्यक्रम के  मुख्यातिथि श्री जे एस नैन ने महृषि दयानन्द जी के जीवन व उनसे जुडी विशेष बातों को बड़े अच्छे व सरल तरीके से बताया। उन्होंने विजेता बच्चों को पुरस्कार दिये व बधाई दी।
