पुलिस अधीक्षक, अम्बाला श्री जशनदीप सिहँ रंधावा के निर्देशानुसार सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने हेतू यातायात पुलिस अम्बाला ने लेन ड्राईविंग (बाँई लेन) में चलने के नियम की उंल्लघना करने पर 20 भारी वाहनोें के किए चालान।
पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला श्री जशनदीप सिहँ रंधावा ने 25 अप्रैल 2022 को सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने, वाहनों के सुचारू-रूप से आवागमन हेतू भारी वाहन व गति प्रतिबन्धित (निर्धारित गति सीमा) वाहन के लिए लेन ड्राईविंग (बाँई लेन) निर्धारित करने व बाँई लेन में चलने हेतू वाहन चालकों को जागरूक कर आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने हेतू पुलिस अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों की गोष्ठी बुलाई थी। गोष्ठी में उपस्थित पुलिस अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों को निर्देश दिए थे कि सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए यातायात के नियमों की पालना दृढ़ता से कराई जाए। मोटर वाहन अधिनियम-2017 की धारा 4 के भाग 5 के अन्तर्गत निर्धारित गति सीमा व बाँई लेन में ना चलकर नियमों की उल्लघंना करने पर आज 27 अप्रैल 2022 को 20 भारी वाहनों के चालान किए है।
पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला ने उप-पुलिस अधीक्षक, यातायात अम्बाला व प्रबन्धक थाना यातायात को निर्देश दिए थे कि आप मोटर वाहन अधिनियम-2017 की धारा 4 के भाग 5 अन्तर्गत सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि प्रत्येक भारी वाहन व गति प्रतिबन्धित वाहन अपनी निर्धारित गति सीमा में बाँई लेन में चले जिससे सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके और ओवरटेक करते समय किसी भी वाहन चालक को कठिनाई का सामना ना करना पड़े और सड़क हादसों से बचा जा सके। यदि कोई भी वाहन चालक मोटर वाहन अधिनियम-2017 की धारा 4 के भाग 5 के अन्तर्गत निर्धारित गति सीमा व बाँई लेन में ना चलकर नियम की उल्लघंना करता है तो उसका चालान किया जाए। पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला के निर्देशों की पालना एवम सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चिित करने के लिए आज दिनांक 26 अप्रैल 2022 को यातायात पुलिस अम्बाला ने मोटर वाहन अधिनियम-2017 की धारा 4 के भाग 5 के अन्तर्गत निर्धारित गति सीमा व बाँई लेन में ना चलकर नियमों की उल्लघंना करने पर 20 भारी वाहनों के चालान किए है। यह अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा।
पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला ने वाहन चालकों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने व वाहनों के सुचारू-रूप से आवागमन हेतू यह अनिवार्य है कि हम मोटर वाहन अधिनियम-2017 की धारा 4 के भाग 5 के अन्तर्गत निर्धारित गति सीमा व बाँई लेन में चले जिससे सड़क हादसों में कमी लाई जा सके।
