अम्बाला 15 जून 2022ः पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला श्री जशनदीप सिहँरं रंधावा ने आम नागरिकों विशेषकर युवावर्ग से अपील करते हुए कहा कि 26 जून अन्र्तराष्ट्रीय नशा-निषेध दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। 26 जून नशा-निषेध दिवस के रूप में मनाना हम सभी के लिए तभी साथर्क सिद्ध होगा जब हम सब मिलकर इस अवसर पर प्रण ले कि हम ना तो नशा करेंगे और ना ही समाज में नशा बेचने/खरीदनेे देंगे। नशा समाज के लिए अभिशाप है इसे जड़ से समाप्त करने के लिए हमें आगे आकर पुलिस को सहयोग करना होगा। नशा किसी भी घर को बर्बाद कर सकता है क्योंकि जिस व्यक्ति को नशे की आदत हो जाती है वह मानसिक संतुलन खो बैठता है और नशे की पूर्ति के लिए जब घर से पैसे मिलने बंद हो जाते है तो वह अपराधिक दुनिया में प्रवेश कर किसी भी प्रकार का अपराधिक कार्य कर सकता है।
पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला ने सभी पर्यवेक्षण अधिकारियों प्रबन्धक थाना, निरीक्षक सी0आई0ए0, निरीक्षक एन्टी नारकोटिक सैल, निरीक्षक ए0वी0टी0 सैल व पुलिस चैकी इन्चार्ज को निर्देश दिए कि वह थानाधिकार क्षेत्रों में आने वाले स्कूल/कालेज के छात्र/छात्राओं को नशे की रोकथाम व नशे से होने वाले दुष्परिणामों बारे जागरूक करने के लिए उनके शिक्षकों व स्कूल/कालेज के संचालकों से सम्पर्क करके विशेष जागरूकता सैमिनार का आयोजन करेंगें और स्कूल/कालेज के संचालकों को अवगत कराएगें कि उन सभी छात्र/छात्राओं की सूचना तुरन्त पुलिस को दें जो नशीले पदार्थो का सेवन करते हों ताकि उन तक नशीला पदार्थ पहुँचाने वालों का पता लगाकर नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा सके और युवाओं का भविष्य अन्धकारमय होने से बचाया जा सके। ग्रामीण/शहरी क्षेत्रों में सरपचों व अन्य मौजिज व्यक्तियों से सम्पर्क स्थापित करके नशा-मुक्त समाज बनाने के लिए विशेष कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करें। थानाधिकार क्षेत्र में आने वाले उन सभी स्थानों को भी चिन्हित करें जहाँ पर नशा बेचने या नशा करने के लिए आम नागरिक, विशेषकर युवावर्ग एकत्रित होते हों।
उन्होंने यह भी अपील की है कि नागरिकों के सहयोग के बिना अकेले पुलिस कोई कार्य नहीं कर सकती। इस कार्य मंे नागरिक पुलिस को पूर्ण सहयोग दें। उन्होनें दोबारा युवाओं से अपील करते हुए कहा कि वह अपना मन पढ़ाई व खेलकूद में लगाए। नशे के आगोश से बचे, इसी में उनकी, उनके परिवार व राष्ट्र की भलाई है। नशा तस्करी करने वालों की सूचना तुरन्त पुलिस को दें जिससे उनके खिलाफ उचित कार्यवाही करके नशे की लत से बचा जा सके, सूचना देने वाले का नाम गुप्त रखा जाएगा।
नशे की रोकथाम व नशे से होने वाले दुष्परिणामों बारे सभी थानाधिकार क्षेत्रों में प्रयास संस्थाओं व सामाजिक संगठनों के साथ संयुक्त अभियान चलाकर आमजन/युवावर्ग/स्कूल/कालेज के छात्र/छात्राओं को करें जागरूक, पुलिस अधीक्षक, अम्बाला
