पी.के. आर. जैन काॅलेज आॅफ एजुकेशन में सामाजिक विषयों पर आधारित ‘डेज़र्ट मेकिंग एंड प्रेजेंटेशन’ प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसका आयोजन डाॅ. अमनप्रीत जस्सर द्वारा करवाया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता में बी.एड. व एम. एड. के छात्राध्यापक-छात्राध्यापिकाओं ने बढ़-चढ़ कर भाग लिया।
उन्होंने कोरोना महामारी से बचाव हेतु नियमों को ध्यान में रखते हुए विभिन्न तरह के मिष्ठान बनाकर व प्रदर्शित कर अपनी पाक कला का उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया। प्रतिभागियों ने अपने डेज़र्ट के माध्यम से खुशहाल व स्वस्थ जीवन, राष्ट्रीय एकता व देश भक्ति का संदेश दिया। निर्णायक मंडल की भूमिका में डाॅ. सुपनिंदर कौर व श्रीमती रेनू चन्द्र ने निष्पक्ष निर्णय देते हुए महक चावला को प्रथम, दीक्षा को द्वितीय, जाॅनी भाटिया व मिशू जैन को तृतीय तथा अंबिका जैन व नीतू ओहरी को सांत्वना पुरस्कार दिया। इस अवसर पर प्रबन्धक समीति के प्रधान श्री धर्मपाल जैन जी, मैनेजर श्री अशोक जैन जी व काॅलेज कन्वीनर श्री भविक जैन जी ने प्रतिभागियों के प्रदर्शन की सराहना
करते हुए कहा कि शिक्षा के साथ-साथ छात्रों को पाक कला में निपुण होना भी अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि घर के बने व्यंजन ताजा व पौष्टिक तत्वों से भरपूर होते हैं और साथ ही इसमें गैर जरूरी रासायनिक तत्वों की अधिकता नहीं होती। काॅलेज प्राचार्या डा. मुदिता भटनागर जी ने विजेताओं तथा प्रतिभागियों को बधाई दी तथा उनके द्वारा बनाए गए मिष्ठानों की भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की। इस आयोजन में काॅलेज का समस्त स्टाॅफ उपस्थित
रहा।
