अम्बाला 04 मार्च 2022ः पुलिस अधीक्षक अम्बाला श्री जशनदीप सिहँ रंधावा के निर्देशानुसार अम्बाला पुलिस द्वारा चोरी/लूट/स्नैचिंग की वारदातों पर अकंुश लगाने के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के दौरान थाना अम्बाला शहर में दर्ज चोरी के मामले में गत दिवस सी0आई0ए0-2 अम्बाला के पुलिस दल ने उप-निरीक्षक विरेन्द्र कुमार के नेतृत्व में कार्यवाही करते हुए आरोपी दमनजोस सिहँ उर्फ फतेह निवासी दुर्गानगर अम्बाला शहर को गिरफ्तार किया जिसका माननीय न्यायालय के आदेशानुसार 03 दिन का रिमाण्ड मंजूर हुआ।
इस मामले के सम्बन्ध में शिकायतकर्ता श्री धर्मशील उर्फ मन्नू निवासी सैक्टर-7 अम्बाला शहर ने 28 फरवरी 2022 को थाना अम्बाला शहर में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी कि 01 जनवरी 2021 से 28 फरवरी 2022 के दौरान किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने जगाधरी गेट अम्बाला शहर पर स्थित उसकी दुकान से नए/पुराने विभिन्न कम्पनियों के लगभग 100 मोबाइल फोन चोरी कर लिए है। इस शिकायत पर पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर मामले की जिम्मेवारी सी0आई0ए0-2 अम्बाला के पुलिस दल को सौंप दी थी।
