अम्बाला 30 मई:- उपायुक्त अशोक कुमार शर्मा ने बताया कि प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के तहत वर्ष 2021 में 9 फसलों का बीमा करवाने का निर्णय लिया है। इस निर्णय के तहत खरीफ सीजन में धान, मक्का, बाजरा व कपास तथा रबी सीजन में गेहूं, जौं, चना, सरसों व सूरजमुखी फसलों का बीमा किया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि फसल का बीमा 31 जुलाई तक करवा सकते हैं।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि यह योजना सभी किसानों के लिए स्वैच्छिक है। इसलिए यदि ऋणि किसान इस योजना में शामिल नहीं होना चाहते तो वे 24 जुलाई तक अपने बैंको में लिखित आवेदन कर योजना से बाहर हो सकते हैं। यदि किसान योजना से बाहर होने के लिए तय सीमा तक अपने बैंक में आवेदन नहीं करते हैं तो बैंक किसान की फसलों का बीमा करने के लिए स्वयं ही अधिकृत कर देंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि गैर ऋणि किसान ग्राहक सेवा केन्द्र या बीमा कंपनी के प्रतिनिधि से अपनी फसल का बीमा करवा सकते हैं। यदि किसान पहले से नियोजित फसल को बदलता है तो उसे अंतिम तिथि से कम से कम दो दिन पहले यानि 29 जुलाई तक फसल बदलाव के लिए बैंको में सूचित करना होगा।
किसान करवा सकेेंगे 31 जुलाई तक रजिस्ट्रेशन–स्वैच्छिक होगी बीमा योजना:-डीसी।
